- This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing and protecting personal data provided by users in connection with their use of services offered by the website The View Mountain (the “Website”).
- The controller of personal data contained on the Website is VIEW MOUNTAIN OPERATOR SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ, Warszawa 00-023, ul. Widok 8, entered in the business register under NIP: 5252967201 (the “Controller”).
- To protect entrusted personal data, the Controller follows internal procedures and guidelines compliant with applicable data protection laws, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on protecting individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
- The Controller takes particular care to protect the interests of data subjects and ensures that personal data are:
- processed lawfully,
- collected for specified, lawful purposes and not further processed incompatibly with those purposes,
- accurate and adequate for the purposes for which they are processed,
- stored in a form allowing identification of data subjects for no longer than necessary to achieve the processing purpose.
- The Controller collects information about users and their behavior through information voluntarily entered in forms, for the purpose of:
- responding to user inquiries submitted via the contact form under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR,
- accepting reservations via the online booking system under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,
- providing services by the Controller under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,
- marketing, including sending commercial information by email where the Client has consented by selecting the relevant box during the booking process, under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent to processing for marketing and sending commercial information may be withdrawn by clicking the relevant link in the message received or sending a request to the Controller’s email address,
- pursuing the Controller’s legitimate interest in specific cases under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, e.g. debt collection,
- On the first visit to The View Mountain, the user is informed that cookies are used. By staying on the website, the user accepts their use. Failure to change browser settings is equivalent to consent to cookies.
- Cookie settings change when restarting or refreshing the session on the Controller’s website.
- Installing “cookies necessary for the Website’s basic functionality” is required for it to function properly, especially for authorization.
- Cookies necessary for website operation can be changed in browser settings; however, changing them may cause the website to malfunction.

- Personal data may be disclosed to authorities, institutions and entities authorized by law, as well as entities providing services to the Controller (e.g. legal, IT, marketing and accounting services, and other entities involved in providing the ordered service).

They may also request deletion of their personal data from the Website at any time. The right to data portability does not apply because no standard for exchanging such data between hotels has been established.

- The Website may contain links to other websites operating independently of the Website and not supervised by it. These sites may have their own privacy policies and terms, which we recommend reading carefully.
- The Controller reserves the right to amend the Website’s privacy policy due to developments in internet technology, possible changes in data protection law, and Website development. Users will be informed of all changes clearly and visibly.
